California Resident Privacy Notice

Who this notice is for

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of California. It describes rights available under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Where this notice and the Privacy Policy differ, this notice governs for residents of this state. Information that is protected health information held by the affiliated professional entity is generally exempt from state privacy statutes and is governed instead by HIPAA and the Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

Identifiers such as name, email address, postal address, phone number and IP address. Commercial information such as plan selected and transaction history. Internet activity such as pages viewed and referring source. Payment information, held as a token by our processor.

Health-related information you provide is treated as sensitive and is processed only to provide the service you requested.

Why we collect it, and who receives it

To provide and administer the service, arrange laboratory work and fulfilment, take payment, communicate with you about your account, meet legal obligations, and secure the site.

We disclose to service providers acting on our instructions — our clinical platform partner, laboratories, licensed pharmacies, payment processors and communications providers — and to authorities where legally required.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold, request a copy in a portable format, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell, but the opt-out is available regardless.

Some information cannot be deleted on request, including medical records subject to state retention requirements and records we must keep for tax or legal reasons. Where that applies we will tell you which exemption we are relying on.

How to exercise them

Email hello@longevix.io from the address on your account, stating which right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity before acting, and will respond within the period the statute allows — generally 45 days, extendable once where the request is complex.

There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Additional California rights

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information, and you may limit our use of sensitive personal information. Health-related information is treated as sensitive under California law.

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for proof of that authorisation and may ask you to verify your own identity directly.

We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code §1798.83 permits residents to request details of personal information disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
